1/3-1/9

We contacted a bunch but with little success. We then ate tacos and some noodle soup then we went with Oscar and his mom also gave us tacos and soup, I’m full. Oscar is so cool definitely getting baptized and going on a mission. This Saturday a the baptism for Oscar. Visiting less actives and plans with the mission leader

We found a reference from the Christmas activity we did. Her name is Eperanza she is cool and accepted a fecha. Sent some reports out to the mission home. I want feeling great today headache and stuff and I still have my cough. Rest of our plans fell through so we made more plans with mission leader.

Meeting with the ZLs. Then divisions i went to Industrial SO that i could do a interview. WE spent the day visiting there investigators and recent converts and some menos activos and them some members. It was a good day. And the interview went well no problem. I also got to know Elder Hernandez better he is a good guy. I also finally got my doctrine and covenants video---super cool. It also comes with the Joseph Smith movie legacy, and a bunch of other stuff.

We contacted and told people in the ward about the baptism. We taught this Christian girl---crappy lesson she didn’t want to understand. We taught a guy named Ayax, he is cool, and he accepted a fecha. A few other appointments then to the church the interview for Oscar---of course he passed YES! We visited Nayeli, and old investigator, and she accepted a fecha and says she wants to be baptized now.

A bunch of citas fell through in the morning so we contacted the whole time. The most important PART---the baptism. Super good and the best part his mom cried. It was super nice. Some of his member friends from a ranch came along with his sister and her little kids and his mom. Also the ZL’s, Elders Felix, and Ramierz. The mission leader and his family also came so an excellent turnout. Luckily we got two cakes. Oscar is such a cool guy. Then we visited a less active family.

Well the investigators we were hoping for didn’t come but Oscar came and got confirmed. His mom and sister went again and stayed the whole---time that was cool. We had disttrict meeting---it went decent. We went with Nayeli again. Bad news she had accepted a fecha but can’t go this Sunday or the next for work so in a few weeks we well baptize her.

Super day today! We washed clothes super early so we could get to the others missionaries house at like 7. Then we all got together as a zone and played dodge ball. Super fun! Not all the balls were that great but still fun. Then carne asada and i ate like 4 pieces and sausages and quesadillas I’m full. We went to buy our groceries and then the long, hard, and windy bike ride home---with groceries and wet clothes.

Love you guys
